Description
Snapper Island, a former Defence establishment, forms a little trio of islets on the Parramatta River, along with Spectacle and Cockatoo Islands.
Employed on Spectacle Island for several years, I often witnessed a pair of graceful yachts tacking in the wind as they raced each other around the islands.
It’s not an uncommon sight, any day of the week, in the lovely waterways and coves of Sydney with its magnificent Harbour.
