The majestic Svitzer Tug Waratah heading in through Sydney Harbour on an overcast afternoon.

Svitzer Waratah, formerly Bhagwan Power, was part of the Bhagwan Marine fleet based in Geraldton, Western Australia. Acquired as part of Svitzer Australia’s ongoing fleet renewal program, Tug Svitzer Waratah is now based  at Sydney’s largest container port at Botany Bay (Peter Barker, Maritime Journal, 2016). Launched in 2013, the Svitzer Waratah (ASD 2810) was built in The Netherlands by Damen  Shipyards Group International.
