Description

The small motor launch Sweetpea was originally converted for use as a general runabout and tow for whalers (clinker-built double-enders in the traditional Navy style), at the Sydney Training Depot at Snapper Island, Sydney, N.S.W.

The painting features Sweetpea during her 2017 rebuild at the Naval Heritage Repository, Spectacle Island, Sydney, with Glenn Wallace working on the boat’s underside.
