Join us for The Art of Still Life Workshop at Victoria Hall Scone.

This relaxing workshop series brings everyday objects into the foreground to help us, as artists, to see light, shadow, shapes, and the way colour is reflected around objects in proximity.

Drawing and painting non-animate objects also helps to refine our observational skills…getting us off our devices…unless we’re actually drawing them!

Historically, still-life painting was much more than decorative art. Often full of symbolism, the art still-life still holds fascination for artists & viewers alike.

Although this is intended as a painting workshop, you are welcome to use dry media, including pencils, pastels, or charcoal.

Included: All art materials (or you are welcome to bring your favourites) and equipment, demonstration & guidance by artist, Victoria Kitanov, and light refreshments.
