Although Fifi Smith has had many pets in her lifetime, one little dog stands fondly above the rest.

During a period of turmoil and upheaval, Fifi’s “adorable” Taffy Dora was the constant, and that beautiful little soul’s love and companionship was not lost on her owner.

The original portrait sketch was based on one of Fifi’s few extant photos of Taffy Dora from the 1990s. In Fifi’s words, the portrait not only captured a likeness but also brought a most cherished friend back to life!
